Beautiful, soft babydoll sheep wool from my Uncle's flock. It was cleaned, carded, and spun in a small, family owned fiber mill in Upstate New York. Raised and processed with love.
3 ply
100g skein
This batch has a nice slightly grey tint to it. See the comparison photos for the color difference. The cream colored yarn is from the first batch. The yellow is the first batch hand dyed with local marigolds.
Please note that these sheep lived outside and their wool is a natural velcro of sorts. As well as it was processed, there will most likely be a few bits of plant matter in the yarn. Take care to remove it as you use it for it can be itchy if you leave it in. Thank you for understanding these critters had a happy, free range life!
Furthermore, make sure to only hand wash in cool water so you don't cause the wool to felt and shrink.
Enjoy the video of the scenery I took the photos of the yarn in. Of course the critters are close by <3
